scents
in light of Jen’s scent post… (ours are oddly similar)
I, too, wore Vanilla Fields. I thought it was the best thing ever. I asked for it at Christmas every year for at least 3 years.
Then I moved on to CK One. oh yea. (well actually I had the fake version as well)
Then it was various Bath and Body scents like Pearberry (which now i find icky)
But one year B&BW had this Cocoa...
confession:
once, during college, i left the studio mid-project one night and ended up coming back and finishing it while intoxicated. my fellow classmates found this extremely amusing…and they still make fun of me :)
not one of my greatest moments, but i still made an A. heehee
Dear God, Thank you for old people with great...
(via simplyjen)
And thank you, Jen, for texting them to me to brighten up my work day. Particularly the slightly dirty ones. lol (Seriously, you need to tumble some of that goodness.)
Dear Sweet Melissa,
Congrats congrats congrats! I am truly happy for you guys and am eagerly awaiting your first long haired hippie baby.
i believe…
that a talk over a good cup of coffee once a week is a must
in second chances, but not 7th and 8ths
that the bigger the sunglasses or earrings, the better
that sunshine is food for the soul
in music that makes you feel
in happy endings
that everyone has a creative talent. it just has to be found.
this girl loves…
wildflowers
cooked potatoes with the skin still on
when her brother tells a story
people
keeping a clean house
singing at the top of her lungs
home-made fried okra
adventure
grassy knolls and suntanned shoulders
Dear sugar snap peas,
i love you.
Why since you’ve wounded my heart Don’t You heal it? Why don’t You heal? And why since you’ve stolen my heart, Do you leave it so? Oh this heart of stone. Why don’t you carry away my heart You have stolen and left here broken Why don’t you carry away my heart Already taken Awaken the dawning of a new heart Where stone begins to bleed For the arrow of God that runs through me Leaves me in need...
i’ve always been a dreamer, but i think I have yet to actually put that...
I will soon be on my way to the Georgia mountains for a camping trip with some good friends of ours. I am so stinkin excited. I’m hoping to outfish the boys on this one. Pics to follow when we return!
ps. im taking a bottle of wine :)
