I got this message today from someone wanting photography:

“Hello. My soon to be husband and I are trying to find a cheap photographer for our private wedding on October 31st of this year. (yes, Halloween) We just need someone that can come to the chapel with us to take pictures and maybe a few outside or something. I’d like to know prices if possible. Thanks!”

Oh lord.

Dear potential client,

You are probably not a client I want. I don’t specialize in “cheap.”

But I gave her the benefit of the doubt and asked her a few questions even though we don’t usually do weddings. And even though I can’t stand it when people straight up say they are looking for a deal. Our prices are on the website. The End.
